Image Overload

When Ella was six days old, my darling friend Bethany (who is not only a lovely person but an incredible photographer) came over and took some really gorgeous pictures of Ella.

You know they are a real friend when you let them move your couch to get some better light and you aren’t even horrified to let them see all the dust balls that live behind it. (Actually, the fact that I’m mentioning the dust balls probably means I’m still horrified by it, but ah well. I shall move on with my life).

And then we made her drag her small son and camera out to the (very warm) beach and take some pictures of us there.

I tried to make it up to her by giving her all our Cinnamon Toast Crunch that I bought for 25 cents a box before we moved. I am nothing if not very generous.

  1. All my admiration of your lovely baby has been replaced with my admiration of your flat stomach 6 days after birth. I might not be your friend any more.

  2. She really is so gorgeous. Loved the announcement which came today. Such a cute picture! I am not overloaded, and if you still have the cinnamon toast crunch, I could have used it the other day. Tantrum from oldest child concerning the choices of sugar cereal we had: NO CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH! Oh the horror of it…

  3. hahahaha you are too funny. I didn't even think twice about the dust balls, but believe me, I would die if you saw behind my couch…or behind anything in my apartment for that matter! You were just nice to let me go on and on taking pictures while moving your sleeping baby! (I can't get over how perfect she was for us, by the way.) And I just die of happiness when I see the beach pictures, I'm so glad we took those. It was totally worth every box of cereal hahaha. You guys are the best. We miss you tons.

  4. I so love the comment about the Cinnamon Toast Crunch! You are so great. Back to the pictures–they are beautiful. Enna is darling and you are such a lovely family. So happy for you…
