London Littles Launch Day!

Today is the day!

After a year (almost to the day!) of working on London Littles, it finally launched this morning!

Since I announced it on my blog in early August, I have been overwhelmed by all your enthusiasm and support – thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I truly couldn’t ask for a more amazing community over the past decade, and I wish I could give you each a huge hug for being so wonderful and supportive.

London Littles has been such an adventure for our family this past year. One of the things I’ve always loved about blogging has been the chance to learn all sorts of new things, and London Littles has been that multiplied by ten.

We’ve gotten to learn all about branding and manufacturing and packaging and fulfillment, and I’ve loved getting to work with a lot of amazing people along the way who are ridiculously talented in their chosen fields.

I also think that working on a big project like this with your spouse can be fraught with peril, but for us, it’s brought us closer together as we’ve worked through dozens of designs, dealt with setbacks, made hundreds of decisions, and talked late into the night many many many evenings about all the different aspects of London Littles.

This week has been a blur of getting all the last minute things ready for launch, from writing product descriptions to adding inventory numbers to buying packing tape.

Over the past year, we’ve put our best effort into London Littles and I am so delighted with how these sweet rain boots have turned out.

This week, my girls wore their rain boots to the playground, to tromp through the (admittedly small) piles of leaves in the neighborhood, and to the pond for a little fishing.

Now it feels like pure joy to finally have these little rain boots go out into the world.
