Christmas was lovely. We’ve seen so many family members and friends that I’m starting to feel a little partied out. And yet, we party on.

A few other awesome things:

  • My sister and her husband live in Provo and we’ve been able to spend a lot of time with them, which is excellent, since before this week, I’d met her husband a total of two times. And I hadn’t seen either of them since February. They should move to Texas (hint, hint).
  • Bart’s brother is a sushi chef and we’re going up to his restaurant this week for the world’s best sushi. Mmm, I can’t wait. His sushi is the first sushi I’ve ever tasted and still the best.
  • Bart’s parents took us to an Indian buffet this afternoon. I love Indian food and this did not disappoint (especially the coconut soup).
  • I went and got my wedding ring cleaned yesterday and after sending it back the first time because the back was still totally gunky and black (yuck!), it is sparkly and gorgeous again. Unfortunately, it’s freezing cold here and my finger is shrinking because of it, so my ring is mostly slipping around so you can’t even see the diamonds. Alas.

  1. Sounds like you are having a blast! We miss you in Texas, we took a nice walk outside in our capris and short sleeved shirts today.

  2. Well, I guess the sushi comment was enough to make me de-lurk (or whatever they call it). I love your blog, and I have to know, what is the name of the sushi resturant? I love sushi! I live in Provo, but go to Salt Lake and frequent Takashi’s for my sushi cravings, but I am always looking for good places. Thanks! (well hopefully it’s in Utah but maybe you’re not, but I’d still like to know 🙂

  3. Hi!! I’m so glad you found me. So.. you have a blog, and then you AND Bart have a blog? You’re an animal. Simply amazing. I’m excited to watch your blog. Sounds like you are in Provo sometimes. You’re welcome to come visit anytime. Well, until we leave anyway. Hopefully soon.
