Thursday
Today I can’t believe:
- I have a masters degree
- I’m moving to Boston in just over three weeks
- it is so stressful to decide what stuff to leave and what to take when we move
- the cat ran away from the house we are staying at (they said it was okay)
- anything is worth reading after Catching Fire
- I’m going to go back to cold weather
- I subscribe to 286 blogs in Google Reader
- I’m going to live less than 2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean
- I am almost 24
- that Kayla doesn’t use Twitter
- I haven’t had my hair cut in about six months
- Bart and I have been married almost four years
- people can spend money without thinking about every last penny
- our house is sold and thus no longer our house
- I didn’t eat two blueberry banana muffins for breakfast
- how sore I am from kickboxing on Tuesday
- how much I love the Internet
- ALA’s Midwinter conference is conveniently located in Boston this year.
- that my fingernails grow at the speed of light
- I haven’t had any fast food in six months and 23 days
- how good the smells coming from Wendys are
You are too funny – in a good way. My advice on moving is take everything you can. You can weed out after you get moved in to your new place. For example – that weird little lamp (substitute just about anything here) that you don't know if you like or not may be perfect in your new house. It probably is cheaper to move it than to try to replace it as long as you don't have to get a bigger truck. Just don't move the can full of garbage. 🙂
hahahaha
You're going to harass me about Twitter until I get on there, aren't you?
I can't believe half this stuff either! It's all so exciting.
haha, you are so cute 🙂
Resist the Wendy's smell. AT.ALL.COSTS.
You're a reader… go read The Jungle (the turn of the century version)or Supersize me. Then have a potato chip and a spoonful of ice cream. (But WOW! I'm inspired… over six months? I long to emulate that.) And can't wait to meet you in person! Exciting times ahead.
I am so glad you didn't say your nails "literally grow at the speed of light".
I'm glad I'm not the only one who subscribes to a very high number of blogs. I just checked and the current number is 210. That's after some weeding and before I add some that piqued my interest today.
Also, I just started a "fast food fast". Hopefully good for the waistline and the wallet.
Can you believe that I don't use Twitter? Yes? I know, I am letting progress drag me along slowly. WHATEVER! Kayla, don't give up! We are Twitter's last stand!
I am so excited that you will be on the east coast soon!!
i am really starting to suspect that you just don't sleep…like, ever. how else do you have time to read and do so much? i can barely read 6 blogs, and don't even ask me how reading is going lately…
Congrats for the NO FAST FOOD!! As a health fanatic and being married to a medical student – you'd be amazed at the years you are adding to your life. And they will be good years – prettier, more energetic years 😉
