Thursday Bright Lights

Some things that are bringing me joy today:

All the cookies from the cookie swap I attended last night (I made these cookies):

I followed Jenny’s good example and had Breakfast Dessert.

Not to mention the fact that I for sure brought home the best of the white elephant gifts (seriously, this is NOT a white elephant gift. This is just an excellent gift):

Putting it on my counter reminded me how much I am in love with my little IKEA spice jars:

Also, my rockstar mom made me some really cute curtains and bedding for Ella’s room. It is really hard to get good pictures of curtains because of the back lighting issue. Carry on.

Time to get some white crib sheets. . . .

And, of course, my baby herself. Bart was, as he so often is, right. Blue IS the snuggliest color.

It’s a nice day to be alive. It’ll be even nicer when the church Christmas Party on Saturday is over and I will no longer wake up in the middle of the night to stew about that for an hour or so. Not that that isn’t good fun or anything.

    I love the bedding!

A friend and I had a cookie swap the last two years, but we didn't this year, as she moved, and I was so sad about it. Hopefully next year!

I think she has the same beautiful purple-y blue eyes that Crawford has! Maybe it's just the photo, but maybe they'll become a family trait!!

Oh my, your baby is just so stinking cute! As is her room and your spice jars.
And I know the feeling of wanting to get the events DONE. The day after an event is sweet indeed.

Oh my, she is snuggly in any color. 🙂 Your mom did such a beautiful job on the bedding, and I adore your crib. Where did you get it?

When did you get those spice jars?? I remember when we first found those online at IKEA cause they're like the ones in that green kitchen. I've wanted them ever since…the moment I get a new house, I'm getting those.

very cute bedding. And an even cuter baby.

I recommend against white crib sheets (I disrecommend?). In all honesty, they won't stay white that long, and there's only so much that bleach can do. Unless you're like my mom, and seriously OCD about cleaning.

Don't you love the middle of the night stewing sessions?! Ugh! That aside, I love everything–the white elephant gift, awesome spice jars, darling bedding, and, of course, your sweet girl. I do love some blue myself too.

Everything looks good/wonderful/fun, but you saved the best for last. I just want to kiss that sweet little face.

Love the curtains and bedding-what a crafty mom! I have those same Ikea spice jars and love them as well. Ella is growing so much-nice to be able to see that through all your picture postings!

Good heavens…this is what happens when you step away from the internet…babies grow up and become even cuter then before. ADORABLE.
