In the Leafy Treetops
It’s about one in the afternoon, the weather is gorgeous, and Bart’s in the driveway, mounting our bikes on the bike rack. I’ve made sandwiches and in a few minutes, we’re heading out to do some biking downtown.
It really pleases me when we do fun things on the weekend. I hate it when the weekend, which we’ve so looked forward to all week, comes and goes and we’ve spend it all on the couch.
I’m glad today will not be one of those Saturdays.
(Plus, I’ve already worked on a paper for one of my classes this morning, so of course I’m feeling good).
Enjoy it now before he goes to grad school and has to study all day 6 days a week. Well, if his program is like Dan’s I guess….Then again, it is still pretty frigid here so there’s more than one reason for me to be left envying your fun weekend 🙂 Make sure to wear a helmet!
I am very jealous, that sounds like so much fun! We packed everyone up and went rollerblading a couple of weeks ago; it was so fun but happens so rarely anymore. I hope you had a great time!
