Saturday Survey
Beating myself up about: Not going to the gym yet.
Crying over: Nothing. Let’s keep it that way.
Daydreaming about: School being out for many glorious weeks.
Excited because: I have plenty of free time today. And the car.
Frustrated because: I can not find a copy of The Giver anywhere. Library, you’re really letting me down.
Grumpy because: I can’t go to a Stephen Speaks concert this weekend. Lame.
Hate-filled and seething over: the person who keeps leaving beer cans in our front yard. Seriously?
Indignant because: my foot is falling asleep. The nerve. (No pun intended).
Just shoot me now because: I did laundry on Wednesday and the last load is still languishing in the dryer. I am that kind of person this week, I’m afraid.
Kidding myself regarding: how fun it will be to go back to work full-time.
Listening to: Michael Buble on MySpace. The only reason MySpace deserves to live.
Mooning over: how nifty our website we’re building for school is (I’ll share it when it’s done).
Need: to go drop off the recycling.
Obsessing over: the number of books I’ve read so far this year. Forty-four so far!
Praying: that Bart will get into the MBA program.
Questioning: why I am doing this instead of going to the gym. Or possibly working on the website.
Reading: Too many blogs. And “A Wind in the Door.” And later today “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.”
Singing: “Home” by Michael Buble.
Trying: to decide if I can justify going up to the outlet mall today.
Unnerved by: the two empty ice cream cartons on my counter. Did I finish those? (hint: yes).
Valentiney Update: Well, that was a long time ago, wasn’t it?
Wondering: if “Penelope” will be as good a movie as I’m hoping it will be.
X-ray: My teeth. Do I have any new decay or cavities? Am I a dentist’s daughter?
Yawning over: the idea of actually putting away that last load of laundry.
Zoinks: Is this a real word?
I am amazed at the number of categories you managed to include in your survey. My list would be much shorter and probably not quite so interesting. I will have to start to think of new categories to evaluate with which to evaluate my progress, favorable ones of course.
Wow! It took me until ‘Zoinks’ to realize that this meme was alphabetical!
Am so not smart!
My friend Lauren used to rave about Stephen Speaks when she went to school in Abilene were he started. I was always impressed by his tunes. Glad to hear he’s still tearing it up; sorry you’ll miss it.
that is a long alphabet 🙂 you are one busy person…i need to come and visit you!! let’s talk 🙂
I have an extra copy of The Giver. If you want to email me your address, I’d be happy to mail it to you.
I don’t get how people leave beer cans in someone else’s yard. We had it happen many times to us as well, along with cigarette butts and empty cigarette cartons. It’s annoying, really.
And, by the way, thank you for the lovely comment! I think the same thing every time you put up pictures of your beautiful self! Anyway, thanks! It made my day!
I didn’t realize this was an alphabet thing until I got to X. Doh! I’m glad I’m not the only one – thanks, Britt!
