I do not win things. I can’t think of a time I’ve ever won a raffle, a drawing, or any other sort of luck of the draw games. As you could probably guess, I’ve never even considered buying a lottery ticket.
Bart, on the other hand, is a natural winner. I can’t tell you the number of things he won at his last job over the course of 18 months. A grill, numerous cash cards and gift checks, candy, etc., etc., etc. I might consider having him buy me a lottery ticket (just kidding – I’ve seen Lost, I know better than to buy a lottery ticket).
However, as of this week, I might have taken some of Bart’s luck for myself. Yesterday, a CD arrived in the mail for me; my prize for winning Chloe’s contest a few weeks ago.
Today, I received a big box of chocolate and oat granola bars (hello, Heaven on Earth) from Lara (this was a complete luck contest).
This is a good way to start my week of Spring Break.
This phenomenon of people sending gifts to each other on the internet is surprising to me. Given that a lot of people are so guarded. But I guess you two know each other. I’m glad you got something you like.
That’s always fun to get things. I am definitely not a lucky person either so I know how ya feel when you do get something you aren’t expecting!

Oh yeah, keep reading blogs and you’ll win all the time. I do tons of giveaways and generally don’t get all that many entrants, which is fine with me. It’s nice to have a one-in-two chance of winning!!
That is SWEET! I NEVER win things.
Yay! You got it! If I was rich I’d send you more than just a couple lousy boxes. 🙂
