I’m Blue (If I Were Green I Would Die)
So, I downloaded all the pictures from this weekend and, whoa. . .lots of blue. We went to SeaWorld, so one would expect much blue from the water and such, but then there were pictures of me in front of the blue lockers. And then Bart and me sitting on little blue pyramids in the parking lot. And Bart wearing a blue shirt at dinner. And then the blue pool at our hotel.
Anyway, we got married two years ago. And so now we are contractually obligated to celebrate by spending money on that day/weekend every year. Hooray!
Bart took me to dinner at Roy’s on Thursday night. They had a sappy dedication and poem in the front of the menu for us; fortunately, the deliciousness of the dinner made up for it. We had sushi and the trio entree – mmmm, ahi in mustard sauce, butterfish, salmon. How I salivate for you. The only real moment of indecision came when we’d already ordered the hot molten chocolate soufflé cake and then I saw that they also had an apple cinnamon creme brulee. I figured “hey, I’ll just order the creme brulee after the cake.” And then I was so full; too full for creme brulee. Guess we’ll have to go back. Look at us basking in the warm glow of our love. Wait, that’s the warm loving glow of humidity fogging our camera.
Tomorrow, many pictures of us at SeaWorld. The anticipation!
I’m excited! I want to hear all about your great trip!
By the way, cute bag 🙂
Happy Anniversary!!!
love….humidity…who can tell them apart?
