That transition from toy gifts to non-toy gifts ca That transition from toy gifts to non-toy gifts can be tricky! 🎁

Because kids in those tween ages still want something fun and interactive but the toys of the past no longer hold the same appeal.

I’ve put together a big list of gift ideas that aren’t toys but lend themselves perfectly to those tweens that still want something to play with or do on Christmas morning!

Comment with the word GIFTS and I’ll send the list right to your DMs!
Every year, I think there can’t possibly be a cu Every year, I think there can’t possibly be a cuter Christmas reading chart and every year I think “wait, is this my favorite one yet?”

I’ve worked with @pippipost.shop on a bunch of reading charts over the years and she always absolutely knocks it out of the park. I’m fully obsessed with this year’s!

Comment with the word CHART and I’ll send the link plus directions for printing a big copy right to your DMs!
Who else has been eagerly awaiting this audiobook Who else has been eagerly awaiting this audiobook release?

I literally got chills listening to the preview of the full-cast Harry Potter audiobooks and I can’t wait for them to get released one at a time over the next months.

And if you don’t have an Audible subscription, now is the moment because it is 99 cents a month for 3 months right now and they’re being really generous with this offer for returning customers!

Comment with the word DEAL and I’ll send the link to the audiobook and the Audible deal right to your DMs!
One of the things I care about a lot as a parent i One of the things I care about a lot as a parent is making sure that being an adult is appealing to my kids!

If all you ever hear or see about being an adult is bills, laundry, and driving kids around, of COURSE a kid isn’t going to be very enthusiastic about becoming a grown-up!

I want them to see that being an adult is actually kind of the best! (Did this caption that was supposed to be about advent calendars just get a little more deep??).

One simple way to help adulthood look (and be!) fun is to include yourself in the celebrations.

Kids are getting an advent calendar? Yes, and so am I!

Comment with the word LIST and I’ll send some of my favorite advent calendars for adults right to your DMs!
I asked how I could best help during the holiday s I asked how I could best help during the holiday season and one of the most consistent answers was “HOW do I organize my lists of people that I need to get gifts for/keep all my gift ideas in one place/remember what needs to be wrapped/track my spending?”

Fortunately for all of us, there are some SMART people in the Everyday Reading community and suggestions came pouring in!

I’ve organized them all on my blog today - whether you want a paper system, an app, a spreadsheet or a simple formula, there are ideas for everyone!

Comment with the word ORGANIZE and I’ll send the whole post right to your DMs!
