This was SUCH a good Kindle hack for a few years (I remember the day I discovered it and was so excited I couldn’t even shower and get ready for the day before I jumped on Instastories to share!)

Tragically, Amazon caught on and closed this loophole so now if you want ad-free Kindles you’ll have to pay for it (personally, I would always get one WITH ads first and see if they actually bother you and then if you hate them, you can pay to get them removed after the fact)
