Last week, as we were driving to work, I gasped and Bart jumped.
“What’s wrong! Did you forget something?”
Fortunately, I had not forgotten anything, since we didn’t have time to go home. No, my gasp was because I suddenly worried that I had forgotten Ben & Jerry’s free scoop day.
I hadn’t, though. Because today is Ben & Jerry’s free cone day and if you don’t get yourself out to try one of their many delectable flavors all for zero dollars, I will be most sad for you.
As for me, I’m already perusing the website, trying to decide what flavor I’ll like most.
If you have never participated, all you have to do is go to their website, enter your email, and they will inform you when free cone day is!

Bossy also jumped at the thought of free Ben & Jerry’s – and aren’t we just a Jumpy Lot?

May I recommend the cake batter with chocolate swirls…it was quite tasty!

I don’t have a Ben & Jerry’s – but another good reason to be happy I am moving!
And don’t forget – tomorrow is Baskin Robbins free scoop day!

Unfortunately, the Ben & Jerry’s near us closed recently. Guess I’ll just have to dig some out of the freezer–not free, but still delicious.

Um, this post scared me because I read it a day late and thought you HAD missed it. But I see that you wrote it yesterday, so now I feel better.

today is 31 cent icecream day at Baskin Robbins — from 5-10pm… joy! 😀

I knew it was free ice cream day, and told the kids we’d go get some when I picked them up from daycare. The line was seriously at least 100 feet long, and there was no way I was going to stand there with two inpatient kids for that long. We ended up goin to Maggie Moo’s wich is just around the corner, and paid for our ice cream. I think I sould plan better next year! The kids got their ice cream, though.

Ha ha ha. I love Ben and Jerry’s. I didn’t know they had a free scoop day!! Is this a regular thing?! I’m glad you remembered!!!

Ugh! I’m so sad that I missed it! We were going to get ice cream from Baskin Robbins last night, but the line went out the door and ended about three stores down! We went to Vons instead, and bought a carton of ice cream for the same price we would have paid at BR. I guess I’ll have to wait until next year for the free Ben & Jerry’s!
Becca says
we went. the line was roughly 3 million people long. sucks for us. so we came home and had ice cream out of the carton. it somehow didn’t taste as good.

I’m sad I didn’t see this post in time. We did attempt to observe Baskin Robbins 31 cent (why don’t keyboards have a “cent” sign?!) night. We drove 5.92 miles each way (thanks, Google Maps), only to find an insanely long line (that, if we were childless, we may have waited in). But it was a pretty drive, at least. And we didn’t even have any ice cream in our freezer to come home to. It was a sad Baskin Robbins 31 cent night.
