We’re back from Disneyland and it was an altogether fantastic weekend. It was the first trip in a long time that I haven’t been ready to go home by the end of the trip. This time, I just wanted to stay and stay and stay.
My only consolation was that it rained quite a bit in California and it never got much above fifty degrees.
Today, in Austin, it’s in the eighties. I’m wearing flip flops and a t-shirt (and pants, of course).
All in all, it’s not bad to be home.
Pictures tomorrow! Today I need to spend twelve hours on campus doing things I didn’t do this weekend.

Why aren’t we all living in Austin? What’s wrong with our thinking?! Glad your trip was so fun, I spent the weekend thinking of you all there.

Glad you had a good time at Disneyland and hope you found an In-n-Out! You had a rare treat while you were here — clean air :o)

I’m glad you had such a good time at Disneyland and that the weather at home has been appropriately welcoming.

I can’t wait to see the pictures!!! Disneyland is SUCH an amazing place. We’re going again this year…i think i would pay to get in JUST to see their firework show. 🙂 Fantabulous!

The fact that you were just in Disneyland kind of depresses me. Because I am jealous and have a small child who is a very long way from being tall enough to ride the good rides and it will be for.ev.er before I get to go again. Sigh.

To “themoncurs” comments. I thought that way too, but we are taking our three year old to Disneyland this year and we are soooo excited (even though I am pretty sure we will spend our time standing in line to get Cindrella’s autograph!). Also, they have some pretty cool deals for parents at Disney, for example if you split up you can go in the “single rider” line and then swap with your husband, etc. You hardly have to wait at all. Anyway, do not despair, Disneyland is still fun with a very little one 😉
