It cannot get much better than having the day before and the day after Thanksgiving off of both school and work.
Yesterday, we slept in a bit and then went to an early matinée of Twilight which was even better the second time (and now I’m going to attempt to stop talking about Twilight every three seconds (note to self: good luck with that)).
We went to lunch at one of our favorite little Indian restaurants and went to the library, I got my haircut, and Bart and I played some tennis (if by “tennis” you mean “hit balls back and forth without keeping score for 45 minutes until my arm fell off and I later had to use two hands to squeeze contact lens solution into the case”).
Then I made some chicken pot pie, some ice cream pie, and we watched some of Shakespeare Retold.
A perfect day really. Except for the part where I had to wake up at 5:30 this morning and put the turkey in the oven.
And today, we will go to breakfast at Band Ralphie’s. Then we will later go on over for dinner. And then we will go to the outlet malls at midnight and rejoice in the cheap cheap items.
